I’ve pulled yet another thrash album from the obscurity of the 1980s, "The Golden Era of Thrash"; emerging from the depths of Chicago, Illinois, is none other than Znowhite's standalone jewel Act Of God.

Good bay area style thrash. While the riffs and vocals are the best aspects here, I think these songs and the production could use some improved.

I want a re-release of this album. Such a good band and a unique style. Unbelievably catchy and melodic for thrash, while still having the heavy energy and aggression.

I just spun this remastered reissue, which seems to be from the year 2006:

What more do you want?

Edit: ...and, no need mentioning: relevant thrash this

This is such a great album. If there's a reason for it being so obscure and overlooked, I'd say it's the ugly cover art. Like, what's the first thing that comes to mind from a picture of some pink grandma? Killer thrash metal or some lame experimental disco polka album?

I actually like this cover art quite a lot. It is unique in this genre.

Found this in one of my boxes of vinyl yesterday. Haven't listened to it for over 20 years, forgotten I even had it.

This one seems to be hard to get today. I have ordered my copy of it via ebay from somewhere in Russia three weeks ago. It said expected arrival in six to eight weeks. I will probably also have to pay some extra fee at customs, lets see. But I am really looking forward to its arrival.

Edit: It has arrived today, after 20 days. I had to pay some 1.5 EUR at customs, which appears to be fair to me.
It is the original press from '88 though, not the remastered one from 2006, so production is a bit subpar. I will live with it.
