I barely listen to them. I buy them on Bandcamp, then use the code to listen to them there. Same thing, technically. Physical items for collectors, but the thing itself is a digital version.

It's been done for ages. My first reason for installing Steam was literally buying a CD of Fallout: New Vegas that contained nothing but a Steam installer with a bundled code. But at least it was still a CD...

Several of my friends collect physical games. They would still buy the box to be able to display it. I get that. I still buy vinyls, even though streaming services exist.

The idea to still produce cases but with a code, not disc, is absurd to me though. Like a vinyl record cover without disc. Wtf
