Erlend Ottem (born 13 December 1968, in Molde, Norway), is a Norwegian musician and co-founder/former guitarist from rap-metal band Clawfinger.
Erlend started out his musical career by playing guitar in a local band in Arendal called Pubmates. Later he was recruited to another local band, Theo (named after drummer Stig Theo Eriksen), where he met Bård Torstensen. Theo released one album, The Good, The Bad and the Ugly on Veps label in 1988.
Ottem co-founded Clawfinger when he and Bård Torstensen met Zak Tell and Jocke Skog at work in a hospital in Sweden. Erlend left Clawfinger in 2003 after 5 albums and 14 years, to proceed a career as a computer software specialist at DevCode.
