Formed by Benedikt and Ragnar in late 2011, Azoic is an extreme metal band from Iceland with members from bands such as Atrum, Offerings and Gruesome Glory.

Epic doom isn't actually "played by power metal musicians" so probably shouldn't say that. More than that, I think it's doom with power metal's sensibility for vocal melody, not so much anything in the instrumentation.
