Yeah I know, Chidder. Not having a band and a touring schedule probably still didn't help in his situation. I have a special place in my heart for the guy. Met him several times and he was just an absolute sweetheart every time.
That step doesn't exactly scream artistic integrity to me. I often wonder where Nevermore would be today if they hadn't thrown the towel just because one album turned out to be a little mediocre. Like, would Warrel still be alive?
I honestly don't trust Loomis at all. Whatever else went down, he left Nevermore, one of the best bands of all time, to join the cookie cutter melodeath factory that is modern Arch Enemy.
