Baltic Bizarre is an annual festival that is dedicated to the birthday of MetalMusic.lv, which is one of the biggest alternative webzines in Latvia.
MetalMusic.lv is expanding and so does the fest, so on January 19, 2008, propagandizing all kinds of bizarre, beer and headbanging, BBF 2 line up presents bands from all the Baltic States and Poland. Moreover, this winter Baltic Bizarre is one of the first European stages having an exclusive headliner from Austria - Hollenthon.
BBF is certainly the largest indoor fest in Latvia. This year the venue is "Melnā Piektdiena" the most popular metal club in Riga.

Damn sounds good but damn exames in that tiem(my last exames in uni) so unfortenatly I wont go and even wisit MS so offen

If each band gets to play one hour incl. 10-15 minutes break and the last three bands 1.5-2 hours, then the whole thing would be over at 1 to 2 a.m.. Guess that's quite normal for a festival, isn't it?

I don't know how big the bands are over there as most of them will probably have quite a big local following, but yea, my estimation might have been a bit generous. Either way, still nothing wrong with a festival closing at 1 a.m..

I don't know like half of these bands but other aren't any good. Hollenthon was symphonic crap. Obtest was better but somehow i didn't like vocals (i have seen them live once). Fimoz sounds gay. And Brain Ignorance is some ...core (read about it one another forum)...no comments there. I won't spend my 10 Lats for such event.
