Leatherwolf posted update: ARGH! We have some bad/sad news to share with our European fans pertaining to our upcoming shows at the end of this month. LEATHERWOLF will not be able to play Headbangers Open Air and Rampa Kultura in Goleniów the following day.💔 Dean, unfortunately, suffered an on-the-job injury and broke his wrist in the process. Which is just about the worst injury for any drummer! He went to see a specialist on Monday and has been told that not only will he be out of commission for a while (read: several weeks) but that his wrist injury may require surgery. We were briefly contemplating doing the shows with a fill-in drummer so we wouldn't have to cancel and let people down (and lose money due to flight cancellations). But, it just is not feasible for various reasons. Number 1 being that we simply would not have enough time to properly rehearse a full set (60+ minutes of music) and be confident enough to represent LEATHERWOLF at the sort of level we expect from ourselves and our fans rightfully expect from us. So ultimately the only option was to cancel our trip to Europe in hopes of re-scheduling both shows sometime in the future. Our sincere apologies to everyone who was looking forward to seeing us but especially the organizers, Thomas and the HOA crew and Pawel at Rock Hard Ride Free and his people, for putting them in a bind. Please support both events - Pawel is actively looking for another headliner as we speak and HOA is going on as scheduled, of course. We hope to see you in Europe in 2023.
