Finnish folk metal institution Korpiklaani has released a video for their cover of the Anthrax version of Joe Jackson's song "Got The Time". Korpiklaani originally released this cover in Finnish under the name "Ennen" between their recent album releases Jylhä (2021) and Rankarumpu (2024).

In early 2026, Korpiklaani, Finntroll, Heidevolk, Trollfest and The Dread Crew of Oddwood will join forces for next year's edition of 'Heidenfest'. A month-long European trek begins on January 9th in Tilburg, The Netherlands and concludes in Rennes, France on February 8th. Due to prior agreements, Finntroll will miss the first 3 shows. Moonsorrow and Vanaheim will step in.

Korpiklaani have announced the name and release date of their upcoming new studio album, the successor to 2021's Jylhä. Dubbed Rankarumpu, it will land in stores on on April 5th, 2024. In addition, the Finns have revealed their massive touring plans for 2024, starting with an extensive UK tour with Alestorm and Heidevolk in February and March, two album release shows in Mexico on April 5th and 6th, followed by a North American tour with Visions Of Atlantis and Illumishade in April and May, a good number of big European Summer festivals and European tour towards the end of the year.
