The legendary industrial metal project Godflesh is about to reach its end, declared founder Justin K. Broadrick on his Instagram page. Following a recent surgery due to a inguinal hernia, Justin K. Broadrick comments that he won't be able to perform live nor in studio in the future as it is too demanding for his body. He has announced, however, that the last two Godflesh albums are in the way and may be expected later this year.

The latter has been released as 4-track EP, which includes 3 alternative mixes of the song. Additionally, Godflesh has announced a North American tour, which will begin in June and feature support from Prison Religion and Cel Genesis on select dates.

It will serve as the follow-up to their 2017 album Post Self and is due for release by the end of 2022. In addition to a new album, two live recordings documenting the performances of Pure and Selfless at Roadburn Festival, in 2013 and 2018 respectively, are in the works.
