Mike's drumming style has been a huge staple in shaping the band's sound and laying the blueprint for the future of technical death metal. Jacoby Kingston will return to bass and vocal duties as he has done during his entire tenure with Deeds. Ivan Munguia will make the move from bass over to second guitar, an easy transition given his recent guitar work live and in the studio with Continuum.

American brutal/tech death metal formation Deeds Of Flesh have returned with a brand new album announcement. Dubbed Nucleus, it is set for release via Unique Leader Records on 11th December, 2020 (Jan. 15th, 2021 on Vinyl). First single, "Alyen Scourge", is already available for listening below. Nucleus is band's first release in 7 years and the first one since the tragic passing of guitarist/vocalist and Unique Leader founder Erik Lindmark, who lost a battle with Sclerosis in 2018.

The vocalist Corey Athos, who joined Deeds Of Flesh just last year, is now out of the band. Erik Lindmark, a founding member of the US extreme metallers, has issued the following statement explaining why: "As many know, a couple years back we did a drastic member change where I decided to go from doing both vocals and guitar to just guitar and backing vocals and adding Corey Athos (Flesh Consumed) to the lineup. Corey was going to take over, basically, all of the vocal duties, allowing me to concentrate more on just playing guitar and doing some backups here and there. We thought this would be a good move, allowing the vocals to be more aggressive and in-your-face, like on our last release, Of What's To Come."

According to a posting on the US Brutal Death Metallers' label's site, Deeds Of Flesh will begin recording sessions for "Of What's To Come" on November 2nd. Artwork will once again be done by the master of creativity, Raymond Swanland. The street date will be set for late spring. Expect many added new elements of musicianship along with the classic sound that is Deeds!
