After disbanding back in 2016, UK doomers Undersmile are excited to announce that they have officially returned in a full active mode. The four-piece have confirmed a comeback show in London as part of Chaos Theory Festival (on February 29th, 2020). The writing of the new studio album is in their plans as well.

It's a sad day for fans of the UK sludge/doom metal quartet Undersmile. The promising band has unfortunately announced that they are breaking up, having only released two full-length albums until now. You might recall particularly Anhedonia, which was nominated for Best Doom Metal Album on Metal Storm Awards 2015.

Three years after they released Narwhal, the Oxford based sludge/doom metal outfit Undersmile return with their new record. It will be entitled Anhedonia and the front cover artwork, photography by Pier Corona and the layout/type by Jack Burley, has been unveiled. You can feast your eyes on it right now. You can expect the new album to be released on the 1st of April via Black Bow Records.

Doom/sludge behemoths Undersmile will release a new split LP with Bismuth (a two piece from Nottingham with only bass and drums). Each band contributes with a single mammoth song. The British doom/sludge bringers Undersmile have released a new video for the song "Soil", taken from their Wood & Wire 12" split with their acoustic alter-egos Coma Wall. The video was directed by M. Arthur Wickson and you can watch it below. The video was filmed in the spring of 2013 at various locations and tries to capture the band's live energy.
