Danish blackened heavy metallers Slægt have announced via their social media that the band has broken up. It appears that this happened about a year after their last album, Goddess, was released, but the announcement only came recently. For anyone interested, there will be merchandise available on their Bandcamp at reduced prices, until April 1st, 2026.

Australian doomsters Lucifer's Fall have announced through their social media that they have reunited after being more than two years apart. The band is planning to record new material with a new drummer, whose identity hasn't been disclosed. Lucifer's Fall will return at least in the studio, but live shows have not been ruled out.

Bacchanalian doom metallers Dionysiaque have finished recording the follow-up to their debut album, Diogonos, and it is scheduled to be released some time in March 2026, via I, Voidhanger Records. Both the band and the label broke the news through social media, where it was revealed that the title is going to be La Tourbe Des Rêves. More news regarding the release is expected soon.

Echoes Of Light is the title of the upcoming album by Chapel Of Disease, to be released on the 9th of February, 2024, via Ván Records. It was recorded from October 2022 up to January 2023 at Q7 Studios with Michael Zech (The Ruins Of Beverast, Secrets Of The Moon) by the three founding members, before they announced their decision to split. The cover artwork was painted by WÆIK. For a first taste, the song "A Death Though No Loss" has been made available for streaming.
