Sad news from When Nothing Remains camp, while the band just announced that their cooperation won't go further anymore. Swedish doomsters also unveiled a brief message, which doesn't give any particular information nor details why the band disbanded. Since their formation in 2010, When Nothing Remains released three full length albums.

The English metalcore band Architects gave us lots of big news today. First, a new album is coming up this year, release date is November 9th. This will be the first LP to come out since Tom Searle died of cancer in 2016. Josh Middleton joined full time to replace him in 2017. A second track from this album was also released (the first one being "Doomsday" which came out last year and is part of the tracklist). It is available here.

As the Death Unleashed European Tour started on December 1st in Belgium (with Nothgard, Heretoir and Last In Grey), Kalmah's singer/guitarist Pekka Kokko faced medical issues and had to stay in Finland. Kalmah were quick to react and found two replacements by the name of Robse from German folk metal band Equilibrium and Pether Winterschmied from German melodic death metal act Burn Down Eden. As of yesterday, Pekka was still not present for the show in Berlin, and might not join at all since the tour ends today in Munich. An update from the band is expected soon.

Three years ago, Gwydion went on an indefinite hiatus. But hope rose earlier this year, when the band announced they would tour again. They are now preparing a new album, expected in July 2018. In order to help financing the recording of this album, a crowdfunding campaign has been launched last week with a fixed goal of ?2,500. It has long been known by the fans that Gwydion struggle with money, and this is a chance for those who care for their music to support the project. The campaign started here on Indiegogo on November 28th and it will last for 2 months.
