Unmoored - New Material In The Works
If you are a fan of Christian Älvestam's work, then you might have the chance to hear some new material from one of his oldest bands known as Unmoored which was formed prior to his glorious days in Scar Symmetry.
As stated on their official Facebook page, the band is going to celebrate their 20th anniversary of being a band in style by writing new material 10 years after the release of their last album, Indefinite Soul-Extension.
Posted by the band on Facebook: "Ladies and Gentlemen, WE ARE BACK! Since we're celebrating 20 years as a band this year, we thought we'd get together and write some new music this summer, for a late 2013 release. We're aiming at putting together a couple of new songs, rather than a whole album, to mark this special occasion. The line-up will be the same as the one on Indefinite Soul-Extension and the recording will take place at Panic Room studios, owned and run by our very own Thomas 'Plec' Johansson.
It's going to be a blast, for sure! Hope you guys are as excited as we are! Stay tuned for further updates! /Christian, Plec, Henrik, Johan."
