Norway's The Wretched End, featuring former Emperor member Samoth, recently checked in with an update about working on a new album. The songwriting process is over and the band will start the recording process and announce a new label partner.

The band explained: "In regards to the progression of the new album, all the material is now written and we're currently working on fine tuning the pre-production."

Samoth announced that the final pre-production and clicktracks have now been sent off to drummer Nils Fjellström aka Dominator.
