Exodus - Fan Dies After Cardiac Arrest At Buenos Aires Show
Bay Area thrashers Exodus are currently on their Latin American Tour. Sadly, they send their deepest sympathy to the loved ones of their fan Gustavo Molina, who has died of cardiac arrest shortly after the band's show in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 9th. Gustavo Molina, who was around 25 years old, reportedly played bass for the Argentinian thrash metal band Kronos.
The band posted this message of condolences: "The band was informed of the tragic incident which occurred after the Buenos Aires show by the show promoter. The promoter conveyed to the band that towards the end of the show a young man collapsed, and lost consciousness. He was brought outside and was treated at the ambulance's car, but despite CPR and heart injections, unfortunately, he passed away at the ambulance. Exodus wishes to express their thoughts to the family at this difficult time."
In a statement, frontman Souza said: "We are extremely shocked and saddened by the death of one of our fans, Gustavo Molina. We never want anyone to get hurt at one of our shows let alone die. Our condolences go out to him and all of his family. It has affected every one of us in the band and even our crew. To all of us, it was like losing a family member, because that's how we look at our fans; they are part of our family. [They have] been a part of our family for many years. Everybody in the Exodus camp are truly sorry for this tragic and horrendous event."
