Quite some time has passed since Year Of No Light released their last full length (Tocsin). Well, this year, which also marks the band's 20th anniversary, the successor will see the light. On July 2nd 2021, the French six-piece and their newly signed label Pelagic Records will unleash Consolamentum. To celebrate the 20 years of existence and new album release, a special boxset has also been prepared - a wooden boxset containing their entire discography of 5 studio albums, several split EPs and the collaboration with Belgian composer Dirk Serries from the 'Live At Roadburn' recordings, on 12 vinyl records. More details coming soon.

Holy shit, I saw they were playing Damnation festival in November so knew they were active, but had no expectations that they'd make new music. I only know Ausserwelt but it's such a great album so interested to see what they can come up with now

Not familiar with them, can someone recommend a good record to start?

Also: Pelagic Records has built up an impressive roster over the years. First time I heard from them, the only band they had "signed" were The Ocean. Nowadays, they've become a great ressource for everything Post-Metal and beyond.

Ausserwelt is the one I know by them, and it seems to be their highest rated on the site and elsewhere. It's a great album, so I would start there
