Awesome! I've been waiting for these guys to make a new album, although I hope they don't disappoint me, they have been releasing quality material an are yet to make a bad album.

Hopefully all the time we have to wait could be worth it, Nevermore is a band that every record its better than the last one, but they also need to find a permanent second guitar player and IMO since Steve Smith its no longer on the band the best replacement would be James Murphy or Glen Drover could be an good option too

About time. It just seems that Iron Maiden needs to slow down releasing material and Nevermore needs to speed up. Anyway, time to get back to Harry Potter.

Personally I thought Enemies Of Reality was a step down, but at least they were trying new things. James Murphy would be an awesome permanent fixture in the band...

That could easily happen if Iron Maiden started actually putting work into their songs and not just copied old themes that were already boring when they were first released and Nevermore did the opposite thing and ran into studio to quickly record a new album whenever they felt not enough people would see them as gods anymore. Personally I'm fine with their release cycle. This Godless Endeavor was a huge album and the five years gap was just fine to give it the right emphasis. I'd rather if more bands took the time to actually create something wonderful instead of releasing albums of more and more decreasing quality every two years. Usually taking time pays off.
The only thing that bugs me is how they don't care about their actual website anymore and just use myspace, or even worse twitter. There are still people around who use the internet mainly for scientifical and informational purposes and don't want to partake in all this social networking stuff that keeps the younger folks occupied these days.

That is true. Maybe I jumped the gun a little with my statement. I personally think that This Godless Endeavor is one of the best albums this decade. My problem is waiting half a decade to hear something new. I couldn't even legally drink alcohol when that album came out!

In the meantime there is the awesome instrumental solo album by Jeff Loomis, which came out last year.

And one no less awesome goth-rock solo album by Warrel Dane.
