Great album, stripped back the black metal a bit for a heavier focus on funeral doom, though still with a heavy focus on atmospherics and melancholic dirgery, which is the best part. Production seems more raw than the previous album, and the drums in the second track sound amateurish, for lack of a better word. The last 20 minute track starts with great slow-folk Wardruna vibes but then meanders on for way too long in ambience for my tastes.

Overall, not as good as the previous album, but still a great album.
