I've kept a close eye on this band since they appeared on the Clandestine Cuts series a few years back, and they've yet to disappoint me yet. This is another impressive album, possibly their best yet? Once again it has an intriguing dark and emotive atmosphere that definitely matches the cover-art.

This album is incredible. The vocals are breathtaking at times, and the guitars create the perfect passages for the narrative. The story of Lope de Aguirre's expeditions is very interesting, especially because of the way it's told. I wasn't expecting the narration in Spanish at the end of "Abkehr - Non Svfficit Orbis." A highly recommended album if you like history and the raw energy of good old ABM.

This is a fitting soundtrack for the Conquest. Antrisch presents black metal with elements of traditional Spanish music to tell the story of the search for El Dorado.
The vocals are monotonous, the riffs are sharp and melodic (some of them remember to Kanonenfieber's style) and the drums are devastating. The cinematic dialogue might put you off, though it should be its greatest strength.
