Dagoba - Two New Songs Posted Online

French metallers Dagoba have posted two new song, entitled "Face The Colossus" and "Back From Life", on their MySpace. The songs are coming from Dagoba's forthcoming album "Face The Colossus", which will be released on September 29th in Europe and on October 14th in North America via Season Of Mist Records. The album was mixed by Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Hatesphere, Mnemic) at Antfarm studios in Århus, Denmark.

I've not heard of this band. My first impression of them was that they had an awesome name (in case you didn't know, Dagoba is a planet featured in Star Wars that Luke Skywalker travels to in order to visit Yoda). The upcoming album's artwork is brutal as well.

That's "Dagobah." Which is also the spelling for where Star Wars got the name from. A dagobah is a Buddhist building that contains relics(usually, remains of a saint or a Buddha.)

Sounds rather different from their earlier stuff(which is all I've been able to get my hands on). Sounds a lot more mature, and a lot better.
