i dont mean movies that are SO good that they blow your minds. i'm talking about movies that were either horrible, or so weird that they fucked your mind with sever headaches for being so weird, or random, or confusing, or slow or whatever....they are basically created to induce migraines so what some movies that induce insane migraines? i would vote Donni Darko, and The Machinest reason why i pick donni darko is becuase the whole movie was so dry and random. from a weird fucked up guy dressed in a bunny suit, to einstines E=MC square theory, to weird projectiles comming out of peoples bodies to one of the slowest, and pointless plots ever made. it was a really bizar movie that almost semt like it came out of the twilight zone the machinist coz he is running away from himself, or soemthing. he is dreaming, yet he hasnt slept for over a year...its one bizare movie with weird de-ja vu and other weirdness. i still dont get what the movie was teaching me... what are your mind fucks?

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - if you've seen it you know what I mean... Two guys on crazy drugs in Sin City seeing shit like non-existant bats, dinosaurs and war fields in hotels... need I say more? Fight Club - I havn't seen the movie in a long time but I remember the guy who gets the main character into the fight club is actually him, and then he shoots himself ... MIND FUCK Yellow Submarine (by the beatles) - Cartoon madness with the Blue Meanies and the Beatles... I wonder what drugs, and how many they were on at the time that they were making this movie.. The animation is totally wierd and the plot is soooo twisted, If I can remember, it's about the Beatles trying to get the Blue Meanies out of some place where everyone is happy all the time... The 6th Sense- Bruce Willis' character is dead the whole time and doesn't even know it... A Clockwork Orange - The main character is a guinue pig in an experiment by the government to change him from a criminal to a normal citizen, but all that happens is he gets totally fucked over because he is scared of everything, even women!!! Oh ya, and a woman gets killed by a penis statue,, hahahah Vanilla Sky - Tom Cruise's character is in a dream state (Lucid Dream) which he thinks is real for half of the movie after he gets fucked up in a car accident

'Requiem For A Dream' definitely. That is the most fucked up movie I have ever seen. Not just for the drug use either. The whole amtmosphere of the movie just makes me uncomfortable when I watch it. The cinematography adds a lot to this feeling, as does the music.

I think there has been a thread like this before, but I will ofcourse say some obvious mindfuck movies. First of all ERASERHEAD, if you are a normal person you dont have the energy to see this movie because of it lack of plot and its horrifying atmosphere. It is just a journey through some of the most awfull scenes in movie history. If you like mindfuck movies this is A MUST SEE. Well you can actually pretty much add all David Lynch movies here except Dune and The Elephant Man. Gummo is a fucked up movie also, worth a try. It was really disturbing the first time I saw it, the second time it was more or less hillarious. Definitly worth checking out.

@ Basso, yes, there was a topic like this in the last forum created by...umm...shit, i forgot her name. dragonheart? another fucked up movie is 'it all goes away'. its a futeristic version of Beethovens story. a techno musician goes def. he starts taking tons and tons of drugs, start helucinating this coke badger. starts fucking around with HEAVY BASS sounds, and then become a greater techno musician. but the coke badger was really fucked up.

The only movie I can think of that made my mind melt was a korean movie called Memento Mori. It basically melted my brain simply trying to figure out the main plot. It is so twisted and messed up it's not even imaginable. You will know what I mean if you watch it. Donnie Darko is but child's play compared to this movie. Just thinking about it is making my head hurt all over again. *Brain falls out of head onto desk*

Well, I guess The Butterfly Effect kinda blew my mind. I saw it in theaters against my will and was expecting some shitty teen movie, not a thriller. The part where the baby got blown up and the scene with the guy grown up with airplanes everywhere in his room were pretty fucking crazy.

true, i almost forgot about memento, and the butterfly effect. both movies were doing good until around the middle of it. they got so repetative and annoying... speaking, of which, you guys saw a movie called 'ground hog day'? sure, it may sound childish, and happy. but its about some dude who lives the EXACT same day for more than like 100 times. he wakes up to the same news, everyone does the same thing over and over again. he tries killing himself, but he always ends up on his bed. he steals a bank, but cant do much with it. he picks up random girls, and then it doesnt do anything. and by the end of the movie, he has become this really bitter lil fucker

I totally forgot about the movie that completely fucked my mind- Arlington Road. It totally changed my way of thinking. It was a small budget movie, but featured some great actors- Jeff Bridges and Tim Robbins. I don't know how long it is, but I was so bored with like the first two hours that I wanted to turn it off. My friend kept on telling me to watch it, so I did and I'm glad I finished it. The ending was CRAZY! I don't think this is a very well-known movie, but I definitely recommend it. I'll describe a little bit of it. It's a movie about terrorism and the psycological reasons why they do what they do. It was made in 1999 I think, so there's no 9/11 stuff. The main character is played by Jeff Bridges, who teaches a class on why terrorists do what they do and Tim Robbins plays his neighbor. Oh, and the ending ISN'T happy.

The movie 'Saint Ange'. I posted the same movie in the 'worst movie' thread, all through out the movie i had no idea what it was all about. The ending is even worse! It left me with more questions than what i was asking throughout the movie. Doesnt give you any reasons why stuff happened from start to end, its completely mind f*cking and one of the worst movies ive seen.
