Dark Gamballe play really strange metal ... it's a mix of everything ... many ppl like them, I never listened to them ... I'll get some album

Kabat's performance on Eurovison was one big hard rock tragedy...they had absolutely worst performance from all competitors and only one point from whole Europe and the last place is the only deserved award...

eventhough i am Czech - and proud Czech - they s*cked it up

i voted for Serbia - Maria Serifovic was the only one worth to waste credit on her :-)

well, actualy i dont thing Kabat are bad band - and even this song Mala Dama is great, when is properly recorded and performed...but their performance on the international scene was awful (because of unprepared sound settings - instruments same loud as singing = no way how to hear the singer...) and didnt represent us like our country deserves...

yep..."Malá dáma" is the czech original name for your "Small lady" :-)

Well...perhaps they didn't perform perfectly....but for me it was still better than all these other performers that night....perhaps it's the environment and the stage which makes the music sound poor....in my eyes it isn't the band's fault....well...I liked Georgia's song....but it lost a bit of it's greatness on the stage....besides...the larpers behind the singer made it seem tacky.....I still voted...because I liked the songs....and in my eyes the performance was awesome....a bit unpolished yes, but it added this "hey, we come from a bar gig" atmosphere....

Hi there. The whole Eurosong competition was average, mostly coz of boring pop songs. And yes, you are right if you say Kabat didn't perform well at all. They are pretty good band, and normally have no problems performing live, but this was tragedy. (Although I never personally saw them live).

@Ed Hunter: Kytice is movie based on Karel Jaromir Erben's ballads and poems, and it's trully well done. I remember watching it in cinema.

@Frodo Of Steel: I've not listened to Kabat's new stuff (from which 'Mala dama' /Little Lady/ is) yet, but the rest of their stuff is worth listen, especially if you like non-complicated AC/DC kind of rock. Even if their guitarists don't use so much of Angus' typical riffs. Check it out, you won't be dissapointed.

Thx a lot, even if I'm so late. Btw I do like your signature, you must be true wine lover. I think you would be very happy in countries like Italy or France, where is it all about wine. Also Moravia (second major part of Czech Rep.) has plenty of delicious wines to offer.

Kabat is not really technical or nothing for a "serious" listener .. but they are heavy and fun to listen to .. great live shows, too .. Mala Dama on a concert last week was great .. in Eurovision the sound was weird
