Well, if you ask me everything after Iron sucked. Well okay, Dragonheads was something worth listening but that's about it.
I do like the tracknames though, I just hope they won't fall in a repeating pattern and keep making the same boring shit over and over again. Let's hope they experiment some..

I wouldn't say it all sucked, but I agree that the quality and originality started to tail off a bit.

Yeah, I'm gonna buy this.

It seems they were going slightly more louder and shoutier than the jari era (and dare i say a tiny bit more Brutal lol) I hope it carries on.

I loved victory songs, hopefully this album is in the same vein!

I fucking can't wait!

Now that Petri is all Ensiferum, im expecting a much better album than Victory Songs.

My guess...top 5 in the MS top of 2009 and will win at least an award. Wheter it is good or not.

I actually like Victory songs a lot. Death Bringer from the sky, Victory Song... those were pretty epic. That's just me though. Drinking my ass of to One more magic potion (screaming it at the top of our lungs) is always a blast.

I'm very excited for this album. Any word on a new keyboardist?

But as Jari left them, I'll doubt that will happen. ;-/

Another album located in my wishlist. I'm really curious to listen to their new stuff.

My crystal ball also predicts it will win the Folk Metal awards 2009, undeservedly. However there is a small hope that the new Arkona could snag the prize away.

I don't have to high hopes of "From Afar" it will be a fun listen, but far from great - just like the rest of there albums.

"From afar" means something like "From a long distance" or simply "From a distance"

Yey, at last someone has done it... A metal-cover on Nordman's "Vandraren", ever since I first heard the song I've wanted a metal-cover on it. Otherwise "Twilight Tavern" sounds like a drinking song, "Heathen Throne" with sequel sounds like something epic and "Tumman Virran Taa" will be cool, I like folkish metal with Finnish lyrics...

Nice track titles...it will rocks! m/

Well, I actually like some of the songs. And overall it's not a bad album, but Iron and Ensiferum is far better albums imo. But ofcourse, Jari left, and that did have a major impact on their sound. So, I shouldn't be expecting anything in that way. Only time will tell what we'll have

I'm so happy, i'm sure the album will be great, after all it's Ensiferum
