"Pain Exposed" is the first album of this new combo of Gothic Metal (new generation however, don't expect anything a la old TOT for example) from Argentina. If I must confess that I couldn't listen to this kind of music everyday I must admit too that this band is not so bad. The album is not perfect and I dislike some things in their music but in general and if you like such music, maybe that you should have a look on this release.

If you know that the band doesn't play a classic Gothic Metal but something a bit more in the mainstream trend, if you doesn't care to have some electro-beats sometime, and if you're not looking for something Gothic that is really dark at the end so, you can check this "Pain Exposed". You got it, we're not in front of a true Gothic Metal album but if you like bands like Charon, Him and etc and if you like classy female singers then that's something for you.

I have to confess that I can't stand some songs in this album. The ones with those techno beats. It's a pity really because the others songs are well done and those "beats" give nothing more really to the music of Bloodparade. Too bad that they had to implant those rhythms in their compositions because at the opposite, a song like "Queen Of The Darkness" is a real potential hit in the style. I don't know what you add actually but I hope that you understand that for me, the "normal" songs are good, and the ones that are oriented toward Electronic Music aren't so good. But if you don't care of such "details" maybe that you'll like the whole album.

As you can understand this album is only for the fans of the style that don't care about Electronic influences. However the tracks aren't so bad and Brenda Cuesta is a great and promising young singer so I believe that the band have all the potentiality to have a nice career.

The only good thing about thisd album is the cover art... the whole music is working my nerves.

The problem with this is classification...BloodParade was never a true Gothic Metal band, you would have only to listen their following records, their are more into Industrial Metal and DarkWave. It's not just to judge them according to classic Goth Metal "a la TOT" cannons.

So an Industrial Metal fan should made a review!
