An even better question to ask may be; is there any point to our music? Will our potential listeners like our band, or will we just make people want to listen to something similar, but better. Well, first of all, let's take a look at what little this band actually has to offer. Some groovy, rolling guitar-and-keyboard combo, catchy as all hell, taken straight from the book of Ritchie Blackmore & Jon Lord. Taken straight from the book of Deep Purple...

Taken right from Deep Purple. Well, fuck it, you know what? Popping on some uber-nostalgic throwback album from time to time can actually be quite a bit of fun. I mean, The Answer are pretty solid, and Graveyard seemed to wreck face pretty hard. It can't be that difficult, can it? Apparently it is extremely difficult, so proves Voodoo Highway. Normally, I'd pin their biggest issue directly on the vocalist, but that would be unfair. The vocalist actually has talent, and with a little work could have made this an awesome album. However, the train-wreck they've passed off as lyrics delivered in this incredibly awkward, infantile manner leads me to believe it's a problem with the entire band. Either they were total enablers to this crap, or they thought they could coast entirely on their awesome riffs and didn't give a fuck. A good rule of thumb is; if it takes longer to sing the lyrics than it does to write them, they probably suck. Another good one would be; if your singing doesn't exactly fit, then don't. Really, there is no point in listening to this if you could just as easily be listening to Deep Purple or to a lesser extent, Uriah Heep.
Shit, Voodoo Highway, get it together.

I loled first when I saw the names of band and album and again in quite every sentence of your review. Hell this is an awesome review, best I read in times, funny but wise!
