Devildriver - Writing New Album

US metallers DevilDriver are already in the process of writing their sixth album, according to guitarist Jeff Kendrick, who issued the following update on his personal twitter account: "Mike Spreitzer (guitar), John Boecklin (drums) and myself have begun the process of writing the 6th Devildriver album! Excited to get going!"

The new album will be the follow-up to 2011's Beast.

I actually really surprised by Beast, although its shallowness made the album mostly forgettable. I'm curious what route Devildriver decides to take themselves musically with this one.

I wouldn't hold my breath, especially considering the fact that there has been a relatively short period between the release of Beast and this. Not too much time to get inspired, so to speak.
