I voted for Las Vegas as well. I prefer the characters in there, they are more interesting to me and amusing. I dont know, they have something, more depth in them maybe. I like the series a lot.

OMG I am a great fan of CSI! It was a hard pick between Miami and Las Vegas, I don't really like New York but I gave my vote to Miami, because it ws the first of the series I watched and because Horatio is so damn hawt with his coolness. Otherwise I'm more fond of all characters in Las Vegas. Both are awesome IMO, while New York just lacks the connection between characters and they don't seem so shaped-out to me.

21.12.2006 - 02:11 Written by AnGina-- on 17.12.2006 at 20:41 I highly agree with you on that, and I voted for Miami as well. Miami has more stuff, a bigger variety of cases, and I'm more fond of the characters, while teh Las Vegas are more like lonely and stuff, Miami's are liek a family, you know. And Horatio is so cool... He's liek so calmed and relaxed, inexpressive, like a rock, but still he's like a nice guy. And tehre are more stories that develop around the main characters... I like Miami more because I got bored of Las Vegas, it became repetitive, IMO, it became to dark, and since Ecklie got in charge things changed a lot, and I never liked too much New York, it's too dark, to obscure, and... I don't know, I simply don't like it.

Las Vegas. I discovered with this one. I'm not fond of NY but it's ok, but i really don't like Miami, I can't stand Horacio. Just a matter of taste.

My girlfriend loves C.S.I. so I get made to watch it sometimes, but I actually enjoy it. Miami is the best IMO, although Horatio really needs to sort out his one liners. EVERYTHING he says is in that trying to be cool, trying to imitate Clint Eastwood voice and it's getting annoying, even though it is really funny! If he said he was going for a piss he'd say it in that voice and it's too much...

10.01.2008 - 20:34 Written by [user id=2943] on 17.12.2007 at 13:42 Maybe because that is his voice... I've seen the actor (don't remember teh name and won't search ) in some movies and his voice is like that. SO there's not much we can do about it right?

Las Vegas wins it everytime although the repeated removel of sunglasses whenever there's a poiniant moment and really corny line just before the title credits kick in are amusing in Miami. CSI isn't the same without Grissam though. the fatc i watch EVERY detective, crime drama on tv means i've watched them all faaaar too many times! haha might have to start athread for the best crime series on tv...

He doesn't speak normally anymore, he's always in "corny line delivery mode", he kind of almost whispers it, which is exactly the same thing that Clint does when he delivers a line (although Clint is just effortlessly cool). Anyway, he's a good laugh.

11.01.2008 - 22:32 Written by [user id=2943] on 11.01.2008 at 22:06 My point is that he has spoken in "corny delivery mode" as you call it pretty much all his career, or at least in teh movies I have seen. And I agree with you that Clint is cooler, and Horatio is funnier.

CSI Las Vegas is the only CSI that matters. seriously, the main character on CSI Miami is named HORATIO CAIN. WHAT? crossing a spanish first name with a mormon (i have a mormon neighbor with the same last name, so its a bit generalized) last name doesnt work, in my opinion. and there is no substitute for the spectacle, the marvel, the all encompassing awesome that is William Petersen, otherwise known as Gil Grissom Las Vegas Hands Down!

Why so much hate for NY? It's the only one of the three worth watching anymore. Let's face, the whole concept is about played out. How many crime solving shows do we need? In addition to 3 CSI's, there are at least another half-dozen of these things on the air. Yeah, LV was the original, but NY is dark. I would have expected peeps that hang out at a metal forum to be more appreciative of the dark feel. Miami's just crap.

from a blog entry i did elsewhere a year ago... so like many of Americans i watch(ed) CSI the original, and later CSI: Miami (henceforth to be known as CSI: DCE, short for David Caruso's Ego) and even tried, but despised CSI: NY. No need for another New York based law enforcement show. but back to the punching bag of this blog - Horatio Caine. let's skip the fact that his ego prevents him from sharing some face/credit time with subordinate cast members (like Billy Peterson/Grissom seems comfortable doing on the original) ... let's skip his cheesy one liners. (which are memorialized http://youtube.com/watch?v=_sarYH0z948 - brace yourself for seven minutes of laugh out loud cheesiness... the "YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAH!" from "won't get fooled again" is an awesome interjection to follow his horrid quips) let's overlook the fact that he had his female co-lead, Kim Delaney (or was it one of the other Delaney sisters, Dana, Mary Kate, Asheley?) liquidated after a couple episodes so as to monopolize screen time. let's focus, instead, on his ridiculously over the top and unbelievably funny acting during questioning scenes. HC will start facing the perp/sap/patsy and will be staring at his chest, as if trying to bore a hole through the poor recipient's rib cage and into his still beating heart. He will then begin to make his declaration/accusation, continuing his quest to microwave the innards of the thugs ribcage, finally glancing up at them for a momentary eye-to-eye, before panning off to the up and right. The camera will cut back to the terrified sacrifice who will make some answer - most likely flippant - before going back to Caine - who will once again be continuing to use his imaginary Cyclops-like eyebeams to resume oil drilling in the antagonist's chest cavity as the dance macabre resumes again. In action: Horatio: (staring at Vic's chest) "if there is anything on that boat, I want you to know" (moves up for eye-to-eye) "we will find it. " (now glances off into space) camera pans to antagonist Vic: "Go ahead, I gots nothing to hide, flatfoot!" camera pans back to HC Horation: (once again staring at Vic's chest) "Oh, rest assured, we will see. (glancing up eye-to-eye) We will see." (and gazes off into the cosmos) think i am blowing this out of proportion? accept the OBC challenge if you dare! Next time AMC or A&E or whatever the hell COX has on channel 40 shows a three or four hour mini-marathon of the show, grab yourself a 12'er of ice cold barley sodas and drink a sip of beer for EACH instance where one of the above occurs. (substitute chocolate milk for beer for the young whippersnappers) Drink twice if it involves Horatio taking off or putting on his sunglasses. (another HC trademark and hilarious tribute http://youtube.com/watch?v=ceHnUrUAbho&mode=related&search= ) i'd be interested to know your thoughts the following morning after you've removed that railroad spike from your forehead and cleaned the vomit off your carpet.

The only reason why C.S.I is still active is because the shows show a lot of nudity and have many cases involved with sex, prostitution and stuff like that. You know - my opinion "or whatever".

i like new york most. i disagree that the characters dont connect as much, the plots are better cos they are in a big city, and some of them are more unusual. i used to think miami was the best but after a while it got so boring...
