Axel Rudi Pell - New Drummer, Recording Next Album This Month

Following the recent departure of drummer Mike Terrana from the band, Axel Rudi Pell has revealed the new drummer that will join them. It will be Bobby Rondinelli (Rainbow, Black Sabbath, etc). In other news, the band starts recording their new album this month for a planned January 2014 release. Circle Of The Oath was released last year.

The band issued this statement: "We're proud to announce that Bobby Rondinelli is the new drummer for ARP! Bobby is well known for his work with Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Blue Öyster Cult, to name just a few. We're pretty sure that you'll like his playing, so please give him a warm welcome! We will start with the recording of the new record on July 22nd. Stay tuned for more news during the next weeks!"

This sounds promising, especially since I´ve always enjoyed Bobby´s way of playing. I´m looking forward to this release!
