Adrenaline Mob - New Label, New Drummer, New Song


Adrenaline Mob chose today to make big announcements, several. Firstly, the band signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. The group will release their second full-length album Men Of Honor on February 24th (February 18th in North America). Their new drummer is A.J Pero (Twisted Sister), who will replace Mike Portnoy. Also, starting today the band will stream on their website a track each week, beginning with album opener "Mob Is Back", leading up to the release of the album. Check out the new song below.

The album features 11 new Allen/Orlando original songs and was produced by Allen and Orlando.

Well, I'll be honest. It sounds like they're REALLY up their own arses this time. (I mean, goddamn, how long was that fucking intro?)

Of course, I guess that is their intention with this music though...
I dunno, I never could understand the whole "cool guys on motorcycles" metal thing, but it seems like (at least from this preview) they're not going to be changing much up from their previous release, which is a shame.

Am I the only one who actually misses the more melodic side of Russell Allen's voice from "The Odyssey" or "V" days? He had one of the most epic voices in metal, but it seems just be gone with the wind right now.

Not just you, I think "V" is the best Symphony X album and I enjoy Russell's melodic side better than when he sings a bit harsher. In the newer albums it is kind of a mix of the two styles.

Regarding Adrenaline Mob, I listened to Omerta a few times and got bored.
