Leviathan - Debut New Song

Leviathan have shared two tracks so far from their awaited new record Scar Sighted. But there is more music for the fans today as the tune "Gardens Of Coprolite" has also been premiered online. Jef Stuart "Wrest" Whitehead's black metal one man band returns four years after True Traitor, True Whore. Check out more material from the new record below now before it is released on March 3rd via Profound Lore Records.

Scar Sighted is now available to order directly from Profound Lore Records website (CD boxed edition version which comes with eleven 5×5 two-sided insert cards) and ready to ship. Info about the vinyl edition (via Devout Records) will be posted once made available.

I think it's pretty safe to say at this point this is gonna be one hell of an album. All three of these tracks have sounded like Wrest's best since Massive Conspiracy, if not slightly better. And I'm loving the outro on this track, that riff is totally gonna be stuck in my head all day now.

I couldn't believe even Nergal is also looking forward to this album as the possible best BM of this year.

Beginning reminds me a lot of Godflesh's Pulp.

What else is there to say, I are very excite for the Leviathan! I will be buying it the day it comes out, and I will be (attempting) to write my first ever for it. Be it here or elsewhere.

One doesn't have to have bad taste just because they write bad music

Nergal writes bad music?! maybe our definition by bad music has a great difference my friend..
regardless of which genre one may be more into it, Behemoth and more specifically Nergal is a name behind a genre by itself. and that is very unique form of Black/Death. and I really doubt if one can refuse to accept Evangelion or Demigod ain't masterpieces..

I sure as hell wont as he reused the same ideas over and over again from Demigod to the present. Only The Satanist saw some clear new elements. Wasn't that impressed myself tbh. Zos Kia Cultus was their last great album for me.

I always considered Behemoth as Nile lite during the Demigod/Evengelion era, and before that they made some of the shittiest black metal I've ever heard. Once they got sick of the Egyptian theme they decided to jump on the Satanic bandwagon, presumably in some lame attempt to be more edgy.

I'm with Mr. Doctor, especially concerning the same recycled ideas since Demigod, which was in and of itself a lackluster album.

Anyway, so far all three Leviathan tracks have me really stoked for the new album.

If we killed you based on not liking something good, we would've killed you a long, long time ago.
