As you probably have heard before, Corey Taylor's Stone Sour recently released a covers EP called Meanwhile In Burbank. In case you haven't checked it out yet, you can now stream the full five-song EP via YouTube below. The EP include covers from Judas Priest, Alice In Chains and more.

Meanwhile In Burbank is now available on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon MP3.

Only one I really like is the Creeping Death cover. Most of these covers are quite tame and barely even sound like Stone Sour. Kinda disappointing.

This sounds so tame and forced. Like there is no passion behind Corey's delivery and even the instruments sounds ho-hum. Maybe Jim was right, Stone Sour is a sinking ship that cares more about making money than making great music.
