Avantasia - Share New Album Preview

After sharing the new song "Mystery Of A Blood Red Rose" previously, the German unit Avantasia have now given fans a Christmas gift. They shared online samples from a few songs that will appear on the upcoming album Ghostlights. This means fans can hear a little bit more of what the album has to offer. Don't miss it below.

The band's mastermind Tobias Sammet comments: "Christmas time! I thought that you'd enjoy listening to some new sounds over the holidays - so here's a clip with excerpts of five new songs for you. If you like what you hear - feel free to spread the word! I wish you a Merry Christmas and hope to see you all on the Ghostlights World Tour - we've just been confirmed to headline one night at Finland's most prestigious Metal festival Tuska Open Air. Cheers, Tobi."

C'mon!!! So many people here seem like they never known the Avantasia since The Scarecrow, when they release their softer and most commercial track from the albums as a preview (for The Scarecrot we had Lost in Space & Carry Me Over, for The Wicked Symphony/Angel of Babylon was the turn for Dying for an Angel [maybe the nicest single made by them] and lastly for The Mystery of Time the single was Sleepwalking [I love it for personal reasons ]).

And IMHO the rest of the tracks in everyone of those albums (specially The Scarecrow, my favorite ever Avantasia album) was very nice (with some exceptions).
