Another topic of mine... which of this excelent and very funny series is you favorite??? for one i chosed The Simpsons, because the history demands it to me... but Family Guy it's just a great TV series, so...

tough call, either the Simpsons or Family Guy... Family Guy has been more funny over the past couple seasons, but the Simpsons has a tremendous body of work that spans longer than many metalstormers have been alive.

I voted for the Simpsons based upon the total body of work.

I go for the simpsons... I grew up watching it and still love it,so in that light, nothing can replace it for me.

The Simpsons beats the shit out of everyone else, they just don't have chance against them !

My favourites are The Simpsons and Family Guy. Actually it's hard to choose, but I have to go with The Simpsons. Both series are genuis.

The Simpsons because it has been around longer and has already gone where the other series listed have gone before they even started...Family Guy and American Dad have the Simpsons to thank for the trailblazing Groening did...

Ooh, King of the Hill! ... but I have to vote for Family Guy. I fuckin' love how they're tied to Mad TV (probably my favourite show evor) and they use so much randomnity.

The humour in Family Guy is rather annoying, but The Simpsons are something that I can watch over and over again. There are some episodes that I have memorized 100%, for example the episode about Burns' teddy bear Bobo ("No! My Box!", "Million dollars and three Hawaian islands! Not the leper ones!", "Moldy? Old? I have to get something to eat!")

Im a big Simpson fan. Family Guy is quite good to, but it dont stand a chance against The Simpsons. haha, there is no one as funny as Homer!

Well.. Simpsons is a classic, and definetly the best animation series ever.. although I voted Family Guy for this reason: Simpsons gets a little boring in the last seasons, and I don't feel the same way I felt when I watch it. Nowadays I even laught more watching Futurama than the simpsons (go Bender go!!! ). Family Guy is the ultimate.. I think no other animation series can be more fun than Family Guy! And the critics about celebraties and everything is just great and stupid. HAHA

How could you compare those shows with King of the hill,jeez.Anyways my favorite is Family Guy,although Simpsons is a classic,I find the humour in Family guy a lot better.

Simpsons, without a single doubt

Voted Futurama. The Simpsons is by now a classic that stays interesting and entertaining and I also really enjoy Family guy and American dad. However Futurama is my personal favourite. I think it's because Futurama, since it's taking place far into the future and mostly in outer space, has more possibilities for even more crazy kind of stories and humor...like nobody can claim anything unrealistic. If you want something to happen - just make up a new planet for it. Too bad there aren't more episodes available though.

OBVIOUSLY The Simpsons... I could had seen thousands of times each chapter and they still don't get old...

Simpsons!! They were the first!!! They ruleeee I also like Futurama and American Dad...!!! I only have seen King of the Hill in german so I don't know very well the serie!! =)

my favorite episode is "You only move twice" (the Hank Scorpio/Bond Villian one), but my favorite quote is from Mister Burns, when addressing the assembled staff of hte power plant:

"Compadres! It is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season!

And remember... a shiny new donkey for whoever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya."

My favorite show out of them all my favorite to watch would have to be Family Guy, but i give The Simpsons more respect bceause they are classic and have been around alot longer, and its such a legendary show, Family Guy is only good to watch once a day anymore then that it is the same old jokes over and over again, The Simpsons you can never get tired of.

I grew up watching the Simpsons. I still watch it from time to time even though its not as funny as it used to be. So it got my vote. The only other show on the list that I really like and have watched was Futurama. It was hilarious but I guess it got cancelled after about 3 seasons.

I voted Family Guy. I'm not familiar with The Simpsons (Please don't shoot me...) and the others don't appeal to me that much.

Well heres my opinions of each

The Simpsosns > Very funny - but in a direct way, which unfortunately loses its touch after the 16th season. Very good though and I do still watch it occassionally when I flick on the TV
Futurama > Not seen more than two episodes, not for lack of trying, its just every time I flick it on its either the pilot episode or the one where he gets the devils hands
American Dad> Watched 20 minutes of one episode - turned over
Family Guy> Best cartoon ever, I have all the boxsets and the movie, I think the humour in many ways is very intelligent and when you think you see whats coming they'll suddenly change the tone to something so stupid you can't help put laugh. For instance the particular one that always makes me laugh is "thats worse than the time I forgot to sit down", which if you've seen the episode, you'll know the bit I'm on about.

I chose Futurama. I like Simpsons' characters, but i don't like the movie, especially it's jokes.
I find Futurama more intellectual and jokes are scientifical. Humour is more... hmm.. pleasant. And Bender Bending Rodrigez rules!

Family guy is awesome, as American dad from seth mcfarlane, i love this ones instead the simpson because they're very changed now , i love the old ones. Futurama could be the third place...in my lidt of course.

i voted for Futurama, it absolutely rules, love that cartoon too much, all the characters are pretty great, and all of them are a totally interesting, all the things wich are around them make 'em enjoyables; well, family's guy, simpsons, american dad are good ones too... well. i'm fan of those good cartoons (like cartoons) ...

I voted on Family Guy. It just gives me the biggest laughs (ever), and entertains me the most. Every episode is funny (at least parts of every episode), and makes me laugh. The Simpsons can't unfortunately do that. The Simpsons is entertaining (and sometimes funny), but I can't get a laugh from every Simpsons episode. I know, that ain't the point of The Simpsons either, but I think that's a part of the problem. The Simpsons usually has some kind of a point, and moral in it. But Family Guy is just merciless, it has no thought (sometimes it does), and no moral. But it is fun as hell. That's what matters to me. I love The Simpsons too, and it was a hard choice. But I based my choice on the level of entertainment. Family Guy is just pure laughs, all the time.
