Dark Descent's output this year has been inimitable. Looking forward to this greatly.

Agreed. I was surprised that this release didn't create more buzz. Probably end up being a sleeper that gets more recognition after their next album.

Absolutely superb EP. Title track is a tad throwaway (though does sound a little Space Odyssey-ish which is cool) but absolutely trounces the mediocre previous full length.

The art is complacent within there style of disorientated playing. Although the photographic style isn't original but correct me if I'm wrong about seeing this frequently used in bm art because I'm not certain it has? The only thing that comes to mind is WITTR's art. Easily there best and smartest stuff so far.
