Purest Of Pain - Releasing Debut Album, Stream Song
Purest Of Pain are finally releasing their debut album! In case you didn't know, Purest Of Pain is a Dutch melodic death metal band led by guitarist and main songwriter Merel Bechtold of Delain (and also MaYaN, The Gentle Storm). The band also includes Delain drummer Joey de Boer, guitarist Michael van Eck, vocalist J.D. Kaye, and bassist Frank van Leeuwen. Their debut album, Solipsis, will be released on March 1st, after the band's 2013 single, "Momentum", and their 2011 EP, Revelations In Obscurity. The album can be pre-ordered here.
Solipsis was seven years in the making, from the writing process up to the final mastering (by Jens Jorgen, who has worked with Opeth, Arch Enemy, and Soilwork), and to launching a successful online crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.
