Stoned Jesus - Seven Thunders Roar

The album has like a million+ views on yt and zero commentary here Well, I'm gonna fix that and say it's not bad an album at all. It's not something I would first expect to come from Ukraine either. I think some kind of substances may have been consumed when songs like 'I'm The Mountain' was composed, and the result is good. Beside that song, 'Bright Like The Morning' is the second best here with some great riffs, great chorus and great lyrics. And 'Stormy Monday', an another great song.

Was Jebus a stoner though, or just high from water fasting

Great little hidden gem on here. Some top notch stoner Metal with great production and plenty of illegal substances. Recommended!

I've tried it a couple of songs because I dug 'I'm the mountain' (along with a shockingly large number of people on youtube - how is that song so highly viewed compared with pretty much all other stoner rock/metal?) - I have to say, that song is clearly the strongest here by a long way in my opinion. I'm pretty keen on this scene, but that song aside, the album didn't really do much for me

This album's never really clicked with me which is a surprise as it's often regarded as one of the best stoner albums made. "I'm The Mountain" has some fine moments but other than that I find it average stoner material tbh.
