Callenish Circle

so i was looking into it, still no thread for this band, so here it is!

ive been recently into this band, and ive been digging there flesh power dominion album as well as their my pasion your pain album, and two great melodic death metal albums they are! im goin to check out their latest effort soon, but im rambling...

so heres the thread for anything and everything about the band...

This great band from the netherlands, are unknown in the melodeath/gothenburg arena, but deserved to be mentioned!

Yeah, I have the Flesh Power Dominion and My Passion Your Pain albums as well. Callenish Circle is one of my favourite Gothenburg/Melodeath bands, mainly because they're much more brutal and straightforward than the rest of these bands that tend to water down their music a lot with tons of useless elements. Callenish Circle is the opposite, i.e. a constant riff machine writing songs that go straight to the point.

It's a shame they disbanded.

the first couple of songs are awesome, but im not really into the death cover

dont like the death cover? i think its a pretty solid cover but yeh, callenish circle are soo underrated, theyre such a good melodeath band

yeh, i like pitch.black.effects. its not too bad, doesnt appeal to me as much as flesh power dominion, though i havent given PBE heaps of listens, so i cant really give a detailed analysis

i just got some of there albums; graceful.....yet forbidding, my passion your pain, and pitch black effects,
now this is fucking awesome music, i think some of these are different from the flesh power dominion album, but heck, they're all great songs

i have to say that IMO flesh power dominion is their best album, the songs are great and very catchy and im in love with the song 'witness you own oblivion' its so great

i think that on the other albums they sort of lean towards static x, which is a little disappointing br cause static x suck
but they still have some of the best melodeath music ive heard

Callenish Circle are a great band, I have been a devoted fan for years now and I am gutted they broke up.

Greetings, I am new to the forum so bear with me. I have joined to help a friend as he would truly like to have the lyrics to one of Callenish Circles' songs, but can not locate it anywhere. Nor can I. Seems it was never released or something to that effect. The song is BLEEDING.
