very simple question my picks are "not another teen movie" and "dumb and dumber". the first's funny from beginning to end, and one of the only times i ever almost fell off the seat laughing was during the prom song damn i start laughing even now when i think about it

dumb and dumber is my no.2 spot, i saw it about 4 times now and i don't wanna quit.. the scene when they get the make-over is stupendously funny..

any jim carrey movie is funny Liar Liar,the mask ,dumb and dumber ,me myself and irene classic stuff

Well, a good deal of my favourite movies are comedies... starting with the #1:
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back - makes fun of EVERYTHING and has tons of great cameo appearances
Blazing Saddles - an oldie but a goodie, brilliant parody of racism with impressive musical qualities (real "musical" musical)
Hot Shots! - war movie with Charlie Sheen, has various jokes filling just about every scene
Office Space
Big Trouble
Bubble Boy - these three are all very quirky

I should also mention Team America: World Police and the South Park movie, as well as Dogma which has Jay & Silent Bob trying to help a lady save the world from two evil angels (Ben Affleck & Matt Damon)

I think Pulp Fiction and Snatch gave me lots of laughs but it's been a while since I've seen them, and the violence would be their heaviest element. I also found Anything Else by Woody Allen very funny but I think the humour was quite subtle, and maybe outweighed by drama/story. All still great movies.

Oh yeah, and then there's the Scary Movies and American Pies...

Animal House - Long live John Belushi! Its also funny, because its also my parents favorite movies and its great seeing them relate to their past hippy lives.

Frisco Kid - One of the funniest movies I had ever seen, especially with all the jewish jokes.

High Anxiety - One of my favorite mel brooks movies.

Eurotrip it's awesome, monty python's holy grail it's also a great movie

ha i absolutely LOVE Eurotrip! so much so that having lost the dvd moving house a couple of years ago i went out and bought it again a few weeks ago! hilarious stuff but some of the old films are amazingly funny too. All the Pythons, The Sting and I'm probably going to get laughed at for this one... Singing in the Rain! haha

I think Fear and loathing in las vegas and Hot fuzz is two very funny movies!!!

Eurotrip is shit, especially the part in Slovakia, that really pissed me off!!

Funniest ones to me are some Serbian ones, but I doubt anyone heard for them so I'll skip them.

Forest Gump is pretty funny and sad in the same time, Monty Pythons are also hilarious

"Meet the Parents": Probably the funniest movie of all time! Ben Stiller always cracks me up and this time it's no exception! Damn how I love embarrasing situations, which this movie is full of!
"Dumb & Dumber": A perfect comedy, the best Carrey comedy without doubt. I don't think I can get tired of this one. Awesome quotes and everything.
"Tomten är far till alla barnen" (Santa Claus is father to all the children): A swedish comedy full of actors from the swedish elite! I don't know how many times me and my friends have laughed to this movie.

I agree with Warman about Meet the Parents. MtP and The Mask are the only comedies I've seen more than twice.
