Apparently Morbid Angel are coming down to Australia in June. All the dates aren't confirmed yet but it'll be great once they are.

Parkway Drive seems to play at Hellfest every year lol. You guys didn't see them at all? They're metalcore but they seem to be the only Australian band that gets into these festivals.

@Jax: I think there was the option for refunding Mayhem tickets. But they were going to re-schedule a date for which your old tickets would be valid. Their website just says: "As many of you know, the previous Australian tour was cancelled. Mayhem was extremely disappointed and outraged for the cancellations. This was COMPLETELY out of the bands control. Mayhem wants to let you know that the fans down under have not been forgotten. An Australian tour is in the works right now. Mayhem will not release official dates until the tour is SOLID to avoid any further disappointments or screw ups! Just wanted to let everyone know that the band knows Australia demands Mayhem and they will answer the call! Look for dates in the VERY near future..."

The only true doom town in The Netherlands. In Baroeg in Rotterdoom of course cause there 6 bands will play at Officium Triste's 15th Anniversary Party. Besides Mournful Congregation, Mourning Beloveth, Longing For Dawn... Evoken, Isole, and Officium Triste (headliner of course) will play there.

For any Aussies going to Deicide apparently it has been postponed again and now isn't happening till about October. The new dates are supposed to be posted in the next couple of days.

At this rate, I swear that tour will never take place

Well, my friend had tickets and the Melbourne venue told him that Deicide were working out a new record label and their new record label said they needed another album before they were allowed to tour

They've announced the new dates:

Sat Oct 3rd - QUT Guild Bar, Brisbane
Sun Oct 4th - Manning Bar, Sydney
Mon Oct 5th - The Corner Hotel, Melbourne
