How came yoiu can use publiv transport in tallin for free where city gets money to support such idea?

It's free of charge for those who have permanent residence within the town. Everyone else has to pay, even those who do live in the town but who are registered as inhabitants of another community. Therefore, the goal is to allure people from other communities to register as permanent residents of Tallinn because every inhabitant means extra tax income.
Plus... I heard there's going to be more parking lots now (for extra charges)... At the same time, the mayor secures some votes because who wouldn't like to use public transport for free...

No you have to be officially registered. They can check it from your identification card. Plus you now have to use a contactless smart card not unlike the Oyster card of London or the Navigo pass of Paris... The card is tied to your ID-code and that means that the big brother out there now has full access to your daily rides around the town. I know it sounds eerie and that probably is the catch... it's free of charge... but at what price?

As I said, as a tourist you're going to pay... that's the whole idea... net is free, however... but the food and alcohol cost a lot...

There might be something similar in Venice although I can't be 100% sure... the public transport of this town (the water buses) is ridiculously expensive. I can't believe locals are paying the same amount for it as the visitors...

I don't know the speed but wireless connection is free of charge in several public facilities such as the airport, some cafés, hotels and universities...

Don't be sad you weren't born here... it is better than Zimbabwe and DPRK and Uganda, for sure but there are definitely better places to be...

Venice isn't overrated... yes it can be crowded with tourists but that can be avoided by just knowing when to go there and where to go there... the quiet little alleys, the walks by the waterfront and the lovely parks are a wonderful place to enjoy some quality time... There is only one particular path (from the railway station to the St. Mark's Square) that the tourists use during the peak season... you can just avoid that and Bub's yer uncle...

Everyone knows Gunnar Graps. However, I'm not sure if he has a thread in the music forums. Since non-Estonian people probably don't frequent this thread here, you might want to mention him in some other thread which has a more international readership.

I always knew his band as Magnetic Band tho... times have changed now, unfortunately... Gunnar Graps has left this world...

But one of his guitarists is still a very active public figure...
