Okera were bloody amazing. Although you should've tried to go anyway. The Arthouse rarely check IDs so there would've been a pretty high chance you could have got in. It's always worth the shot trying to get into the Arthouse anyway. Guess it might be a thing to keep in mind for next time.

Agreed. I get back on like the 7th of Jan though, so if some of those bands decide to tour properly, I'll hopefully be able to see them! Surely SOME of them will, Australia is a long way to come just for one show...

@Judas - So far only Cynic seem to have confirmed other dates around the country (unfortunately, no Brisbane date though). Apparently Edguy are also doing some sideshows, but nothing confirmed yet.

Agreed. I get back on like the 7th of Jan though, so if some of those bands decide to tour properly, I'll hopefully be able to see them! Surely SOME of them will, Australia is a long way to come just for one show...

Yeah hopefully you still get to catch some of the bands. Destruction seems as if they're going to do a tour while they're here. They haven't announced any dates yet though.

Screamfest looks pretty sweet but its expensive and I only want to see one of the bands, lol.

There's been a few sideshows announced which, depending on where you live and which band you want to see, might be worthwhile checking out. I think tickets for the sideshows are around $60-$70 each.

The Screamfest lineup is awesome (for Australian standards) EXCEPT for the fact ive seen many of them already, but seeing bands like Ensiferum, Sonata Arctica and Destruction should be worth it. Jodie hasnt seen any of them either.
