The dupe people of Iran, at this time that I'm writing, are in the streets and defending the damned dominion, although I think most of them have just come for fun, or make boy or girlfriends! I think government is afraid of protest! cuz they do everything to drag people to the streets and make them happy!

I've just realized that if I expand my B.S. years to 12 terms, I'm going to be exempted ... Because interestingly my father will turn to 60 in Ordibehesht of 1393, and in Khordad of that year will be my very last term in university! This is the first time in my life that I feel lucky... I just hope in next 3 years the rules of military service wont change. Because if it gonna happen then I feel soooo unlucky and will stab myself to death...

12.02.2011 - 20:40 Written by Hamird on 12.02.2011 at 20:27 Of course not! Where should I know it from? There is no logic possibility nor system to convert normal calendar into normal calendar... In China it was so easy because in China they use normal calendar too... I once tried to memorise the months but I failed... they don't coincide with normal months at all... why couldn't you do like the Chinese who use ordinary calendar and call the months (month 1, month 2, month 3... month 12) Sorry for being so simple-minded... but we use the same calendar as pretty much everyone else does and it's impossible to understand another one... The Iranian calendar seems catastrophically complicated... and as much as I understood my Afghan friend, in Afghanistan they use a third calendar that is neither normal, neither Iranian but something other... mayb it's the Arab calendar... damn... can't we just use one calendar...

Yeah... i think Iranian calender is the best (i don't say it because I'm Iranian ) , Iranian calender is so precision , Arab's calender has 10 days variation and Christian's calender has 6 hours variation ( because they begin new year on midnight but Persian calender computes that 6 hours and once four years we have 366 days(we call this year KABISE)

13.02.2011 - 18:02 Written by akvan on 13.02.2011 at 13:29 In Christian calendar every fourth year has one extra day too so I guess there's no big difference between this and Iranian calendar. The only problem is the compatibility. It is impossible to convert it by any logical means... you need a special program for that...

Account deleted Written by Ernis on 13.02.2011 at 18:02 I have written a program for converting Christian calender to Iranian calender. IMO it's not a sophisticated program. you should follow these instructions : Add 621 to the Persian year to arrive at the starting Gregorian year. For example, if the Persian year is 1389, the Gregorian year is 2010. Count the number of days since the beginning of the year on the Persian calendar. For example, Farvardin 31 would be 31 days, and Tir 31 would be 124 days. Find the precise point of time of the vernal equinox, determined astronomically, on the Gregorian calendar. The U.S. Naval Observatory's website has a chart of this data for the past 10 years. Select the date of the nearest midnight to it. For 2010, the time of the vernal equinox is March 20 at 5:32 p.m. The nearest midnight is on March 21. Count the number of days between the vernal equinox date and January 1. For most years, there are 80 days. Add the number of days between the vernal equinox and January 1 to the number of days since the beginning of the Persian calendar year. The result is the number of days since January 1 for the Gregorian calendar. For example, for Tir 31 1389, 80 + 124 is 204, which is July 23, 2010. Subtract 365 (or 366 for Gregorian leap years) if the above result is more than 365 (or 366). This gives you the number of days since January 1 of the following year. For example, Bahman 1 1389 is the 307th day of the Persian calendar. Adding 80 results in 387, which is more than 365. Subtracting 365 results in 22 days since January 1, 2011, or January 22, 2011. Repeat this process for each day of the Persian calendar until the whole thing has been converted into Gregorian.

15.02.2011 - 18:17 Written by Gurth Bennas on 15.02.2011 at 13:05 No... it's a Christian holiday dedicated to a Roman priest Saint Valentine who helped Christians and organised marriage ceremonies for them. Helping Christians was a bad thing and when it was found out that Valentine was helping Christians, they killed him... thus he became a martyr and is traditionally the patron saint of love and friendship... 14th of February is his day... in America and other more corrupt countries Valentine's day has become a commercial "holiday" with an emphasis on sex... it's the "hot day of young couples"... pink condoms are spread and dudes go to buy roses for their (potential) fuckbuddies... you know, you buy pink heart-shaped chocolate boxes and all in all this day has taken a very anti-Christian "mating day" form... in many Western societies this day is not a lovers' nor friends' day but a "sex day" or "condom day"... We took the tradition not from the US but from Finland where it's more known as "friends' day" which means it's a day when to remember your friends and tell them how dear they are to you... but unfortunately the US "sex drive" has reached our region too which means it's slowly turning into "condom day" here as well... Written by Gurth Bennas on 15.02.2011 at 17:41 They did it? Really? Well, we here had a scandal too. It was not the first time when our "green party's" leader was accused of espionage... now he's accused of being a Russian agent of influence and accepting money from Russia... it's normal because the election is in March which means that our leaders need to use all possible means in order to avoid "greens" taking over the government... people are now scared to death of going to hell if they vote for him which means I think I already know who's going to win the elections... elections are so predictable...

We had elections... I went and voted... but as I thought... "hope for the best, expect the worst"... My vote didn't change a thing... the votes of thousands didn't change a thing... Somehow the same douches once again received these 7% more votes and we're stuck with them for 4 more years... and as I heard already, our president will probably also enjoy his position because he's best buddies with the ruling party which means we've got them for more years... I cannot believe how this is possible... who are those people who vote for them all the time? Who buy all this propaganda that is in media and everywhere? How is this possible that a voter says in an "interview" that "I have lost my job, my wife has lost her job, we have no money, our kids don't have anything to eat. BUT we still vote for our dear leader who has lead our country through all these years!" HOW can anyone possibly vote for politicians who have allowed this to happen to the people?! While the people are being made poorer and poorer, they are becoming richer and richer and their argument is "We are your democratically elected leaders. We lead your country. We deserve to be rich!" How many more years until Estonians will go to the streets and ask "Where is my vote?" Oh right... they don't have to ask it... because they want what they have...
