Moreover, Russian translation is sooooo cool, it makes jokes funnier! Hilarious!

My fav character is Rajesh, I like how he talks with his parents via webcam and the way he picks up chicks ^^
oh, and Howard's mother is something unforgettable! A true Jewish mother

So, if someone understands Russian, try Kurazh-Bambey translation, it's the best

Haha, yea, he's my second fav character of this show (after Sheldon). There's a living copy of him in my class (he's not from India, though) - he just smiles when sees a girl but when he has been drinking for a while he gets very funny and opens to everybody.

Usually when I watch some tv shows alone I just cannot laugh but this is certainly not the case. I remember the episode where Sheldon tried to learn Mandarin - the last few seconds of it were so funny that I was almost crying in the end, haha.

I recently started watching. I kept meaning to but never got around to it. I'm kinda sorry now I didn't start before.

Sheldon is completely insane. The more the show goes on, he just gets crazier. There probably are words in the english language that completely describe him, I just....don't know what they are. I think I like Howard the least so far. Raj and Leonard are ok, and I think Sheldon needs Leonard to keep him somewhat sane...well, to make him at least kinda functional.

And oh yeah, I know a girl who has a massive crush on Sheldon. XD Ha!

I used to watch it, but after a while I felt it became boring. They got caught on that Bazzinga moron-ness and it screwd it all up. Perfect exmple of how something funny becomes lame and stupid when exploited. It's a shame, 'cause it really was a good show.

All true man. But I still blame the decadence of the show through the 3rd season on the Penny-Leonard relashionship... They being together simply killed one of the greatest source of humour, that was represented by the miserable Leonard.. At the end, the 3rd season got better and at least create some good expectation for the fourth.

The presence of Will Weathon was also unnecessary, I hate that guy. -_-

Actually Three-dimensional chess was a star trek thing, going back to the original series I believe ^_^ Though it was actually conceptualised hundreds of years ago apparently.

Last episode [in the UK] was incredible, I laughed so damn hard.

Ive been addicted to this show lol! Ive just watched the entire first season and now Im on to the second season!

Damn, today was the last episode for this year(i believe).. TBBT is the most consistently funny show i've ever seen, it's simply the best.

This last episode was hilarious!

But I thought the one before it was actually disappointing. The one with Howard and Raj "wrestling" and Amy being sexually aroused by that guy Zack...and Sheldon and Amy are trying to figure out whats wrong with her. The Howard and Raj part of that episode wasnt really that funny. The rest was good though.

I love this show! It's perfect for when I'm having a very bleh day and I just need a good laugh.

and when you're stoned, listening to Sheldon talk is nothing short of MIND-BLOWING!

most true geeks are immensely campy as well. But I don't find Sheldon that camp at all. His dress sense is totally worng for that

What the hell does dress sense have to do with being camp? We're not talking about The Rocky Horror Picture Show here, camp can be reserved for mannerisms too and Sheldon is most definitely camp. And typical nerds and geeks aren't camp, they're introvert and quiet, nothing like Sheldon who is a pastiche of various personality traits. I'd say Sheldon's variety of social ineptitude is pretty non-standard, but then again most geeks aren't geniuses either.

Raj sometimes do over acting( reacting!!). He should stop doing it. That's not very cool.

I have no correct understanding of deference between nerd and geek... Anyway, I think Sheldon and his other three friends are in no way geeks. What I get from the word geek is what I see in IT Crowd. Roy and Moss are standard geeks.. Also when you compare the office in IT Crowd and the houses in The Big Bang Theory again you see the deference.
Anyway I watch The Big Bang Theory, but its not my favorite. I hate Leonard and Penny.. Raj is OK, Sheldon is cool with some good jokes. But my favorite character is Howard, which is darker and absurder comparing to others which is good to me...

I love this show, but have failed to keep up with it lately... Is it sad that most of the people I hang out with at school are pretty similar to the main characters? lol We get all the science jokes and have actually had conversations trying to decide which character certain people we know resemble. But most people can agree that as much as Sheldon is what makes this show hilarious, he'd be annoying as hell to meet in real life.
