Hehe. I'm seriously impressed by them, for some reason I didn't think they would be this strong this year.

Another sloppy win by the Patriots. They seem to be jiving alittle better than their past games, but Brady still seems to be rather off, and Florida managed to stop most all of our runs. I'm rather suprised we won.

And that last Dallas drive against the Eagles... it was pretty representative of Bledsoe's career: Holding on to the ball too long, getting sacked a bunch of times, throws a bunch of beautiful long passes only to blow it with an interception when it really mattered. He did it with the Patriots and he's been doing it with Dallas.

And it was great to see Dallas and TO lose to the Eagles.

Too bad the Colts won.

I think everyone is a little shocked by their performance. The team went from having zero offense last year to having one that can strike at multiple positions. It is also surprising because the Bears didn't exactly have a good showing in the pre-season either.

Well, on Monday the Broncos beat the Ravens to end their unbeaten record. I really don't understand how the Ravens have been doing so well, due to the fact that their running game and overall offense doesn't seem to be doing all that great. I just looked at some stats and they are the 4th worst offensive team in the NFL

I was also looking at individual stats and so far Frank Gore of the 49ers and Stephen Jackson of the Rams is leading the league in rushing yards. I knew Gore was doing pretty well, but I didn't think he would lead the league in rushing yards. This year is kinda weird because all of the big names- Shaun Alexander, LaDanian Tomlinson, Clinton Portis, and Edjerrin James have had sub-par seasons because of injuries or, in James' case, is having to make a transition between teams.

Oh, and Michael Vick is 16th in the NFL in rushing yards!

I'm glad Denver won. I've always liked the Bronco's and I'm hoping with the Raven's loss and Carolina's win, we'll be motivated and they'll be dissapointed and give us the edge.

I really like the NFl. My favorite team is probably the Patriots. They are amazing. Overall, I think the CFL is a little better, because the field is bigger, the ball is bigger, we only have three downs, and this puts more pressure on the team which increases the score. No offense intended, its just my opinion. And like I said, I like the NFL a lot too.

The rules are different...he probably likes CFL better because he grew up with it. To each his own. The players are far better in the NFL though, that's why I watch it. Any team could win, unlike most college or minor league games which can be predicted easier. If you want to see some serious shit, go watch arena football. That's just insanity.

I watched a couple of CFL games and wasn't impressed. The players just aren't that good. However, if I was Canadian I"m sure I would like it.

Yeah, the Pats win was tight - but I'd rather have tight wins, to be honest. I think it will keep the team hungry and focused on improving. Brady's performance this year, I think, is mostly the result of the WR situation - outside of Touchdown Troy Brown, they've pretty much let 'em all go.

Maybe we should just line up with all those TE's we've been stockpiling and have Maroney and Dillon run over everyone. Kills the clock and keeps our D rested and ready to respond when called upon.


Nice to see the Eagles win. I liked the Eagles in the NFC prior to TO - not that I rooted for them, but I didn't root against them. I hate T.O. Owens is the Antithesis of everything that made the Pats three SB teams so good. His sad sack ass is whining again even though Drew tossed the ball his way 13 times against the Iggles. T.O. - in typical tantrum fashion, played weak. Alligator arming one and not playing aggressive "defensive WR" on the underthrown balls.



As for LDT - is his season "subpar" - or is his "diasppointing start" the result of an early bye week and a couple games against stout Pittsburgh and Baltimore Defenses... coupled with a Rookie QB that they are 'easing into the role' meaning the D can stack 8 in the box in anticipation of frequent runs?

The trading deadline is coming up soon and it is rumored that Baltimore, Arizona, and Jacksonville are interested in Randy Moss and Jerry Porter. I have no clue why Arizona would be interested, but Baltimore and Jacksonville could use some offense.

I saw a Yahoo article that suggested Brett Farve should go to Kansas City. They denounced themselves in the process, but still it would be crazy to think of him leaving Green Bay.

I don't think they should. Huard seems to be doing pretty well, considering the circumstances. Favre needs to be a Packer for life anyways.

Yes, it was another solid week for the Saints. Maybe now ESPN will at least place us in the top 10 in their power rankings, and stop writing articles about how much of a SUPRISE it is every time they win. Is it possible that they are actually good this year? They've always had the talent...but it was usually accompanied by a mildly-retarded coach....anyways....

Carolina is working with 4 straight wins and looking more dangerous each week...Atlanta finally got beat by someone else...the Giants are looking like they are also a contender...The Bengals lost to TAMPA BAY, which really suprised me, mabye they're not as big of a threat as I thought...Seattle is GOOD...Despite the loss, McNabb is strong and still probably one of the best QB's in the league easily. It's going to be very hard for any team to win in the superdome...The Chargers win again, but I don't think they have beat any good teams yet...the Broncos are also RRREEALLLY good and it's going to be near impossible to beat them at home.

Tonight's game, although I doubt it, will hopefully be a good one. On a side note, did anyone see the UM-FIU fight? Go look for it on U-TUBE if you haven't...and you will see how bad south florida is becoming.................

I agree and disagree. While the Ravens don't seem to be as good as their record, their run defense on Sunday was top-notch. I think DeShaun Foster had around 50 yards rushing, after 2 straight games with over 100.
