High - NOTHING

Low - Back to work, have family in town that I don't want anything to do with, they happen to be here through my days off...

I am going to be spending a lot of time on this forum me thinks lol

High: Floor camp was amazing. We played 100's club with rocket fuel. Made it to 129 shots! Participated in an orgy, 2 guys 3 girls... went skinny dipping.

Low: I vomited, a lot. I threw up on the girl I had a crush on, but its ok, coz she threw up on me too. I lost my phone, and my underwear while skinny dipping, I still feel sick. I kissed a guy, And put of the three girls in the orgy, I only did something with one of them. So it wasnt really an orgy. It was more one guy had a threesome and I banged a girl in the same room. Oh, and someone pissed on my clothes the first night, so I only had one set of clothes the entire time.

I didnt have one. I didn't even really have an orgy if you read my Low point thing... its just the joke on our floor. That and they reckoned the girls were 15. The youngest was 17! And my girl was 18! Or at least I hope she was.

It's connecting all the riffs together through bridges, breakdowns, chorus, etc...that sucks.

That's why I love black metal! It doesn't really follow any particular progressions or anything, you can just riff, chord progression, then riff something completely different, next minor chord progression lol

yeah ..but the main problem lies in fact that i write more melodic and "epic" riffs -like viking era Bathory or Hades Almighty and its really hard to make something good out of them... also my voice is not melodic -its so raw ...so wright now i have something like 1000 good riffs and 0 songs...

One of the reasons quite a few metal bands use producers nowadays.
We have the same problem sometimes, we've got a shit ton of riffs that are fucking awesome, but forging it into a complete song is the hard part :/

The best way to make it all flow is to find a songwriting partner. Someone who is a really good rhythm player and has good direction musically. Then you can jam together and work songs out. I had a really good guy in my last band who was just fantastic at writing around my riffs, but after college we both parted ways unfortunately.

I've gotten a lot better molding everything, but it's still really challenging. Part of the reason it is taking me so long to release my solo EP...I keep rewriting the songs because I love the riffs, hate the connecting parts haha.

Ah, then you are in the same boat as me. Just record everything you play, then play it back and try to work parts around the riffs as it is playing back. Sometimes that makes it a little bit easier.

Dude, that is God's grace stealing. I once found 60 bucks lying on the ground and straight forwardly from there I went to church and donate it there and you know what? I was going through some hectic fucked up days where all my work was horrendously stuck up, but I think after that act, all things were started falling in place. To this date i thank god for giving me direction to church so that money can be valuable to someone.

Well here is what I did with that $50 buckaroos.

I spent $20 of it on MegaMillions tickets because the jackpot is up to over $500 million now.

Then I took the remaining $30 and went out to lunch with my boss haha.

I see it as $30 well spent on delicious Italian lunch and hopefully $20 well invested haha.

High: Tomorrow will be the beginning of my holiday, a break from college classes, and, even though I'll have lots to study, I've devised a scheme that would allow me to study for several hours per day AND listen to music at least three hours per day. It involves getting up pretty early but I'm a morning person anyway.
Low: Today I have this really boring test I need to take care of :/

High: Had a great time in last two weeks followed up my best birthday ever.

Low: I had a very boring meeting among a bunch of fat ass morons and the output of the meeting comes out to be is...Boring. probably this was my first and the last meeting ever went into that.
