i must admit, ihavent seent he second or the third one yet, but i saw the first one, and absolutly LOVED it. the plot, the blood(not so much blood, which i liked) the traps, the story line, everything kicked my ass. the second one people said was awsome coz of all the blood. and the third one, i havent heard much about, but from peopl who have seen it, they say it is the single greatest movie ever made.
what are your thoughts?

No offence to Saw fans (haven't seen 4 yet), but am I the only one who slept out of boredom between 2 and 3? Maybe it's just me, but the story repeats itself too much and.... as much as it's blood n' stuff... I'm resistant to kind of things, cause I daily manage with cadavres. Saw is really not my thingy....

The newest Saw was a hunk of crap, its really friggin boring and it repeats everything theyve done in every other movie: 1. Movie starts off already into a gruesome/suspicious looking scene 2. Theres the bait 3. The set-up 4. The twist, which includes the not so surprising surprise ending. 5. The open ending. They seriously need to start something new, the degree of repitition is getting out of hand.

These movies are kinda like when you drive by some horrific accident on the highway. You just have to look. Other than that I think they are becomming pretty predictable. I haven't seen the 4rth one but it kinda surprised me that they even made a 4rth one. I mean, they could have left the story open ended and it would have been an accptable end to the series. There's going to come a point were it just doesn't shock people anymore. Actually, we're probably already there. I have to say though, these movies are by far better than "Hostel" which was pretty damn stupid.

Saw 1 was great because it has interesting idea. Saw 2 was worse but only the ending was quite good. Saw 3 was nothing special. It was like one of ordinary movies that you see and forget about them in the next day. No wonder that they created something better than it because nobody would like to watch movie as good as Speed Demon.

Gotta agree with that. It really should have stayed as a trilogy. Part 4 is a waste of time imo.

saw 1 > saw 2 > saw 3 > saw 4. First part is exciting, fresh, the rest are moneymaking overrated 'horrors'. Last parts predict you from thinking, even just a little. I don't like when director suppose I'm not able to think myself.

And here it goes, SAW V In the first week of releasing this movie has been sold about 30.000.000$ and got the 2econd place in American's weekend box office. I hope this sequel will have new idea, like SAW 1 which was amazing and shocking at the end of movie..

SAW V sucks. It's basically "HERE IS WHAT REALLY HAPPENNED IN I-II-III and IV!" Also, the characters aren't nearly as interesting as in the previous movies.

This saw 5 nonsense needs to stop. its getting outta hand. this series of movies is starting to remind me of those awful 1980s slasher movies like Halloween and Friday the 13th that have like 15 movies per series.

I agree with everyone here, Saw V it's just pointless, the main trap isn't nearly as interesting as the other saw movies, the same happens to the main plot, there isn't an awesome twist like the other saws.

I've only watched the first movie of the series because sequels have almost always proved me wrong. The first movie is actually good, a nice twist though a little melodramatic at the end and i wouldnt consider as good as Se7en like some critics say.

Saw V was the worst crap I've seen recently when it comes to popular big budget movies. The franchise died after the second one. Its a good thing I didn't spend money watching it because I couldn't get through the first 10 or so minutes. I'm so tired of these torture movies. They were popular for maybe a year and a half or two at most. The industry is driving something into the ground and down my throat that isn't even there anymore.

This part solves many puzzles of previous part.. I'm agree with that traps are becoming a little boring, but the story is very nice this time.. Oh, wait the 4 level trap was awesome, especially in the last level that they understood that no level needed to kill anyone..
