Yeah, you never know...I think their routing is a bit odd.

Hopefully the Toronto date isn't out of the question, if it is, theres always Sudbury hopefully.

How is the scene in Calgary by the way? A few years back I heard many complain that it was somewhat mediocre, but I have a hard time believing that it's THAT bad. Some interesting bands seem to be coming out of Calgary of late, IMO.

It's exploding past the point where I can keep track any more. I've been kind of bumped to "the older crowd" (literally, a few younger people have referred to me as such) because I've been part of the scene for over 5 years now, a bunch of new kids are coming in, starting bands, putting on shows etc,. Whereas all the local bands I was familiar with when I attended shows really frequently have disbanded. The 70+ people I'd recognize and be acquainted with that I saw at every show have all disappeared (grown up, moved away, stopped being so nuts about metal etc.) I'm proud to know I'm one of the earlier people who helped build the scene to where it is now, in my own little way...one of the few who were the stepping stones for the current generation who's running with it, which is great. Still seems strange that my glory days in the scene have expired and I'm only 20. The scene was pretty small & underground when I first started listening to metal, now it seems you can choose between at least 2 local metal shows any night of the week

So long story short, it's constantly growing, altogether a nice, strong scene, but as of late I've been out of the loop. I'm trying to work myself back in though.

Hello there. I live not too far from Toronto, about a 2 - 3 hr drive depending on the traffic.

I love Toronto but is it me or is there more metal in Quebec? (Shows, bands, fans ,etc.)

Well, for shows and fans it seems fairly equal. When it comes to bands on the other hand, Quebec is where most of the the quality bands seem to be.

It appears so. Must be something in the water...

Cape Breton...that's rare around here. As previously mentioned by others, most of the members from Canada are either from Montreal or Toronto. We have very few frequent users across Canada in general though.

Trolling is pretty much the act of purposely antagonizing someone over the internet and being a massive prick. It's usually done by making sarcastic, snide remarks to get a reaction out of someone. That's how I would define it.

have you started preparing your application? ... i went to the Canadian embassy in cairo and tried applying and found out that my 'turn' would come after SIX years !! lol.. apparently more than a few MILLION Egyptians have applied to canada immigration that it now takes six years until your turn comes to process your papers !!

You could apply for the family-sponsored programe in immigration, its one of the fastest in processing...
or, save up about 40,000$ and you could pay some chick to marry u on paper so u could get into the country and u'd get divorced after the two-years period is done and u acquire nationality lol
