Philip Seymour Hoffman - I love his versatility as an actor. He can pull off the funny rolls like when he played Sandy Lyle in 'Along Came Polly', I love the sharted scene and the clearing his throat scene and especially the basketball scene (Rain drop, old school, WHITE CHOCOLATE.) I also like him in 'The Big Lebowski' and 'Twister.' Of course, what he is known for most are his powerful performances. Of course we all know he won Best Actor for 'Capote.' He also did a wonderufl job in 'Love Liza'; '25th Hour'; 'Magnolia'; and 'Red Dragon.' A great actor.
Brian Cox - In my opinion, Brian Cox is the man. Every movie he's in is great because of him, basically. I loved his roles in 'X2'; 'Troy'; 'Super Troopers'; 'Manhunter'; and I really enjoyed his rendition of Hermann Göring in the tv series 'Nuremburg.'
Edward Norton - Of course, another favorite. What can be said? 'Red Dragon'; 'Fight Club'; '25th Hour'; and my personal favorite 'American History X'.
Those are just three among many. Arnold, Chris Lee, Mel Gibson, Jeff Bridges, Ian McKellen, Jack Nicholson. I could go on, but you get the picture.

No Tom Hanks on this page? Tom Hanks is easily my favourite. He is in alot of my favourite movies, and can act ANY role! Cast Away - (Adventure) Saving Private Ryan - (War) The Terminal - (Comedy) Forrest Gump - (Drama) Big - (Comedy) The Green Mile - (Drama) They are a few of his movies, that i really liked. I also like: Johnny Depp (goddamn he is popular) Orlando Bloom (he plays many good medieval roles) Mel Gibson (Mad Max and Braveheart earn him a spot for me) Kevin Spacey (just like him) Jude Law (just for Enemy At The Gates)

Written by Warman on 09.08.2006 at 11:52 He was excellent in American Beauty. It thought that movie was a chick-flick but boy, was i wrong! My favourite actor is Adrian Brody. He is an amazing actor, making every role his own. Watch "Oxygen" and see for yourself - the movie is not that great but just watching his performance it it makes it worthwhile. Also, he was good in "The Jacket" and "King Kong". Gabriel Byrne is really good as well. Don't really have a favourite actress but some good ones tht come to mind: Kate Beckinsale, Elizabeth Shue, Emma Thompson. @darksun : Anthony Hopkins is a terrific actor as well. He is trully talented but still, he did have his bad roles - Bad Company.
