How many of you enjoy these movies as much as I do? I have to say that I am a fan of these movies to such extent as to have action figures hanging in my bedroom's walls, buying the first three movies in original DVDs (the next three are coming soon), having the "Clone Wars" episodes in VHS, memorizing lines of the movies and owning some comic books from the new episodes.

I went to watch the second movie, which is the fifth, in the theaters with my sister's ex husband and that is when I got hooked by the series. Before that, I never had a curiosity for the movies and now that I look back I don't know why I didn't get into them earlier.

Then the episode three, Revenge of the Sith came in. I have been waiting ages for this movie and, when the chance came, I went to see it at the theaters in that same day it released at 12:00 AM (in spite that I had a test for my University at 7:00 AM that same day). It was such a grim experience to watch that movie along with so many fans of the series. They were all dressed as Darth Vader or as Jedi Knights and when things that had an impact to the fans, as the first breath of Darth Vader, we would be screaming until death of the emotion. Damn, they should present all the movies at the theaters again!

Some people think that the newest movies, the episodes for the first to the third movie, are a disgrace for the older movie but I have to disagree. In my opinion these movies are as good as the old ones and they still maintain that old Star Wars feeling in them. We all love Jar Jar Binks, don't we?

Join me all of you my apprentices and padawans!

Anyway, that is just me and a few million others that love all the movies. Just tell us what you think about the movies.

All hail George Lucas! :[

This came from an article that came out the other day...

"Lucas, by the way, says he is readying "Clone Wars," an animated series for TV that's derived from "Star Wars." Many "Star Wars" characters appear in "Clone Wars," but voiced by other actors.

And here's a little news: Lucas tells me he will make two more live-action films based in the "Star Wars" era.

"But they won't have members of the Skywalker family as characters," he said. "They will be other people of that milieu."

The two extra films will also be made for TV and probably be an hour long each. But, like "Clone Wars," Lucas doesn't know where on TV they will land.

Hello, HBO and Showtime. It may be time to pony up."

@ Hemlock, that would be amazing if Lucas really did release 2 more movies, even if they are just made for TV specials. I hope that one of them has something to do with Shadows of the Empire. Where did you read this article?

George Lucas didnt create the first 3 episodes by the usual order because he didnt had enough technology for it, or so i read. Therefore i think he did the best he could Anyways, i think the Star Wars movies are the best sci-fi movies out there. Its a classic! Im a good fan, but not an addict I dont own action figures, i dont know specific movie lines (some i do "Luke....i am your father!" / "NOOOOOOOOOO" loool!), i dont have any Star Wars outfit, didnt read any books (although i probably would if i was born like 20 years earlier), and stuff like that.

Anyone here watches Chad Vader?

Sure! It can get pretty funny. The guitar intro of the video really cuts. If anyone wonders who Chad Vader is, here is the link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF1klcioOG4

Imagine how Darth Vader would live as a manager in a store. Lol I heard that the guys are going to release the episodes in DVD and that makes me wonder if Lucas would sue them or something since he allows people to use the characters and story freely but without getting any profit out of it. hmm, we will have to wait and see.

The Clone Wars episodes could be translated to real life with the proper actors for it. However, George has said that with the "The Revenge Of The Sith" movie, the story for the respective characters has ended, at least in the theater. I would like to see the Clone Wars episodes in proper movies though.

As for the possible new movies, bring them I say. Star Wars is too huge and has such a following that it is so hard to picture the series ending with the "The Revenge Of The Sith" movie. We fans of the series crave for more.

Perhaps, when George leaves this earthly existence and get to join with the Force, someone, the one or ones to inherit the rights for Star Wars (if George didn't do or won't do anything to evade it) will dare to continue the series and/or do something more with it like for example re-making the first movies.

Thats a good question actually. Did they get the impression of the whole story like it was meant to be? I dunno but if i have kids in the future, ill show them the saga in that order, and see what they think of it

i think you can watch it like two practically independent stories - though the actors are connected together...it is like Silmarilion and Lord of the Rings...same world, many same characters, different and independent story lines...

so no matter which you watch first...only - the 1-3 parts have better effects but weaker story than 4-6, i´d say...

independent story lines...

i have to disagree on this. the big idea behind the whole SW universe is the battle between the dark side of the force(represented by the emperor, darth vader, maul, the other sith and of course the Trade Federation and the Empire) and the light side(represented by yoda, obi-wan kenobi, luke skywalker, the Republic, and the Rebels)

the climactic lightsaber duels in Episode III show perfectly well what i mean: the whole idea behind SW is, in the essence, Yoda vs. Darth Sidious(the masters of the light and dark side) and Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Anakin Skywalker(the apprentices of the light and dark sides).

also, in the end of Episode VI, another climactic lightsaber fight between Luke on the light side and Vader and the Emperor on the dark side. however, though the odds were against him at first, Vader redeems himself and is once again Anakin Skywalker, killing the Dark Lord of the Sith and thus bringing balance to the force.

so the 2 stories are tied together perfectly. if they were independent how do you explain then that Anakin/Vader is a main character in all 6 episodes?

why are Galardiel and Sauron in both Silmarilion and LotR ?

i mean you can watch 1-3 and especially 4-6 epizodes and both parts will give you sense, though yes, they are tied up, but it is not so crucial conncetion like for example the connection between Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi...

C'mon, no one is that much of a moron to star watching of at epsiode 1 and going up till 6. That's just blasphemous.

I always thought that is completely irresponsible and immoral thing to do And so far I managed to convince anyone who started watching SW to start at 4, not 1. It's just the right thing to do.

Actually, the Star wars films show the final confrontation of the Jedi and Sith for a Batlle that was raging for over 10,000 years. From the early Sith Lords to the Great Jedi-Sith War. Kun, Revan, Ban. Hoth, Rand and hundred of others are in all of these stories that come to a close with the death of the most power Sith ever, Sidious.

I'm with you on that one, man. When I first became a SW geek I was indifferent to the whole ''before stuff'', but the history of Sith, Dark Jedi and Light Jedi is just too powerful and meaningful to overlook it. The film gives you monumental characters Anakin/Darth Vader, Darth Sidius, Yoda, Luke etc. to represent the basic idea of battles inbetween Sith and Dark Jedi against Light Jedi. It's just the ending, the story of prophecy of someone, who will bring balance back to the force. And because everything has a cause, something must have happened - the ancient stories of the Sith, Dark and Light Jedi batteling for power way before Battle of Yavin occured are just too rich and full of important characters (you have mentioned) to be overlooked.

The story in the film then again is just a treat, something people would want to see, a bit of ''space opera'' style with extra characters bringing style (Han Solo, Chewie,...) and making it eye-candy even for people who have no idea whatsoever what Jedi or Sith and The Force really is.

Oh, totally, AnGina--. I mean, Jolee Bindo is a far more interesting character than Luke Skywalker. The Battle of Russan is so more deeper than Yavin. I personally prefer the Old Republic stories to the Galactic Civil War/New Republic ones.

Plus we never really get to see what the Jedi actually were. Ben Kenobi is an old man, Yoda is even older and hobbles around, Palpatine looks like his whole body is cancer, Luke can barely hold a Lightsaber, but no matter, because he is fighting a robot man who walks about as fast as Jason Voorhees and swings like he is up at bat.

Compare that to someone like Ajunta Pall who could slaughter dozens of Saber-wielding Jedi in minutes, and he didn't even have a Lightsaber!
